Jun. 13, 2012 Source: Tessenderlo Kerley news release Tessenderlo Kerley Inc.'s (TKI) NovaSource crop protection business unit announced today the establishment of two new sales regions and a new manufacturing position. The expansion is a result of the company's recent acquisitions of the Sevin® brand agricultural insecticide (carbaryl) and Purshade® solar protectant. Veteran crop protectant representatives Keith Foster and Bernard Olsen will represent NovaSource in two new US regions and Jim McNamara will join NovaSource's manufacturing team. Keith Foster joins NovaSource as Regional Account Manager for the Eastern USA and his responsibilities include managing the business in an eighteen state area, (TX, OK, LA, MS, AR, TN, KY, AL, GA, FL, SC, NC,VA, WV, DE, NJ, PA, and NY). A graduate of Mississippi State University (MS & BS, Agricultural Economics), Foster was previously with Rotam North America as their Territory Manager in the SouthEast. Previously he's held sales management positions with Helena Chemical and Terra International. Foster and his family reside in Sebring, Florida. (kefoster@tkinet.com) Bernard Olsen represents NovaSource as the Regional Account Manager for Southern California, Arizona, and New Mexico. A graduate of the Cal Poly, San Luis Obispo, Olsen was previously with Arysta LifeScience as their Fumigant Specialist in the western region. He's held prior sales positions with Arysta, MGK and Eden Bioscience. Olsen is involved in CAPCA and local Farm Bureau activities and resides with his family in Paso Robles, California. A Purdue University (BS Chemical Engineering and Chemistry) graduate, Jim was previously with Nufarm Americas as their Supply Chain and Toll Manufacturing Manager. Jim's responsibilities will include management of NovaSource's toll manufacturers. Previously he held manufacturing management positions with McIntyre Group, Owens Corning and Mobil Oil.
