PADILLA SPEER BEARDSLEY NAMES NEW SR. DIRECTOR OF ITS RESEARCH DEPT

Ned Winsborough has joined Padilla Speer Beardsley as Senior Director, Research and Insights. Winsborough will help Padilla continue to build its research department and deliver insights-based communication programs for clients.

Winsborough brings a successful track record of marketing research and target-market insights for branding and marketing communication to Padilla, an integrated communications firm based in Minneapolis. Most recently, he was with General Mills where he conducted research across several brands, including Yoplait, Progresso and Cheerios. Winsborough also led a team at General Mills that created online qualitative research tools that were quickly adopted by the organization.

"The number of Padilla clients who understand the importance of building communication programs from a base of facts and target-market insights grows each year," said Lynn Casey, Padilla's chief executive officer. "Ned is a great example of the level of talent we have put in place to meet that need, and we are thrilled to welcome him into the firm."

Winsborough earned his master of business administration degree in marketing research at University of Wisconsin, Madison, as well as his bachelor's degree in communication arts. He also earned a master's degree in media studies at the University of Iowa.
