TOP USDA ADMINISTRATOR CHANGES ANNOUNCED
Red River Farm Network reports:

Farm Service Agency Administrator Bruce Nelson is moving back to Montana and return to his previous job as FSA state executive director.

USDA deputy administrator for farm programs, Juan Garcia, will serve as the acting FSA administrator. Garcia previously served as FSA state executive director in Texas.

Karis Gutter has been named as the USDA deputy undersecretary for farm and foreign agricultural services. Gutter has served in that role in an acting capacity since February.

FSA deputy administrator for field operations Mike Wooden is retiring and John Berge will take on that job as the acting deputy administrator. Most recently, Berge served as the head of USDA's National Food and Agriculture Council.
