Source: Topcon Precision Agriculture news release

Justin A. Jones of Mitchell, South Dakota, has been named Midwest regional sales manager for Topcon Precision Agriculture (TPA). The announcement was made by Marty Cook, North America sales manager.

For the past year, Jones, a graduate of South Dakota State University in agriculture systems technology, has been precision technologies instructor and department head at Mitchell Technical Institute. In that position, he developed course curriculum, taught a course on precision technology and maintained professional relationships with agriculture industry leaders.

Other experience includes working as a technician and territory manager for TPA and KEE Technologies, which was purchased by Topcon in 2006. More recently, he worked as the North and South Dakota territory manager for Ag Leader Technologies where he managed dealer networks, was a dealer and company technology trainer and provided sales and technology support.

On Jones' appointment, Cook said, "It is with great pleasure to welcome Justin back to TPA. Seldom do you have a chance to acquire the skill set that he brings to this position. His extensive background in all phases of technology, sales and training, plus his background with Topcon technology, make him the perfect fit for this important territory."

Jones said, "When I was presented the opportunity to rejoin TPA, I saw it as the perfect job and perfect fit at the perfect time. Being able to put my varied experience and knowledge of the territory, dealers and customer base to work for TPA is very exciting."
