CITRUS EXPO 2012 ANNOUNCED

The theme of this year's Citrus Expo seminar program, "Production Basics to Ensure the Future," will help growers continue to do what they do best for years to come. Plan to attend the event Aug. 15-16 at the Lee Civic Center in North Fort Myers, FL. The educational program, sponsored by Bayer CropScience and Southeast AgNet, will include grower panel discussions, presentations on new research, and other vital information for citrus growers. A complimentary lunch of ribs and beef will be served on Wednesday, Aug. 15 in the exhibit hall. Growers who register in advance for Citrus Expo will be eligible to win a John Deere gun safe, sponsored by Everglades Farm Equipment. The drawing will take place Wednesday during lunch, and you must be present to win. Online preregistration closes at 5 p.m. on Friday, Aug. 10.
Back by popular demand is the return of the annual Stay for Steak lunch on Thursday, Aug. 16. In a drawing at 1:30 p.m., two lucky attendees will each win a Cabela's Premium 7-in-1 Smoker/Cooker.
Citrus Expo's 3rd Annual Casino Night fundraiser for Florida FFA promises to be bigger and better than ever before with the addition of Texas hold 'em poker. Attendees will also have the opportunity to play roulette, craps and blackjack while enjoying drinks and snacks with citrus industry friends. But, most importantly, come to support a great cause! The entertainment starts at 8:30 p.m. on Wednesday, Aug. 15 at the Holiday Inn Fort Myers at Gulf Coast Town Center. Reserve your spot and make your Casino Night donation.
