ILLINOIS CROP IMPROVEMENT NAMES NEW CEO

Seed Week reports:
Illinois Crop Improvement (ICI) has announced that Douglas Miller has been named the company's chief executive officer designate and will assume full responsibilities on January 1, 2013.
Dennis Thompson will continue to serve as CEO in the interim, working with Miller on the transition of leadership.
Miller formerly served as ICI's seed technology manager and business development director. In his new role he will work to ensure growth in established markets such as seed testing, grain testing, field inspection and winter farm services as well as new markets such as trait and product development services.
