SCOULAR NAMES NEW CHAIRMAN OF ITS BOARD

The Scoular Company's Board of Directors elected David M. Faith Chairman of the Board at the company's annual board of directors and shareholder meeting in Omaha this week. Marshall E. Faith will assume the title of Vice Chairman, and will continue to play an active role on the board.
As a 28 year veteran of The Scoular Company, Mr. Faith has played a key role in the growth of and success of the company. Throughout his career, Mr. Faith has earned his way through the ranks of the organization, and has enjoyed success in wide and varied positions of increasing responsibility. Faith's long tenor and wide base of experience provides a deep knowledge and understanding of Scoular's history, its employees, its culture and the agricultural industry, which Scoular believes uniquely prepares him for the role as Chairman.
In his new role as Chairman, Mr. Faith will play an active role in the day to day affairs of the Company, working closely with executive management and the Company's Board of Directors. Mr. Faith will focus on corporate growth and development, strategic planning and the ongoing review of Scoular's progress against plan objectives.
