LARGER 1910 COMMODITY AIR CART NOW AVAILABLE FROM JOHN DEERE

With increased demand from small grain farmers wanting to plant more acres faster, John Deere introduces a larger 1910 Commodity Air Cart to its air seeding equipment lineup for 2013. The new 550-bushel tow-behind 1910 Commodity Carts give operators the ability to accurately apply seed and fertilizer with fewer refilling stops.
The newest model 1910 Commodity Cart features three tanks: 200-bushel front and rear tanks, plus a 150-bushel center tank, making it 22 percent larger than the previous 430-bushel model. In addition, the 550-bushel model has hydraulic meter drives, variable-rate drive and hydraulic calibration as standard equipment, which reduces the number of mechanical and electrical components and provides more durable, consistent and accurate metering and seeding.
According to Aubrey Grove, product specialist at John Deere Seeding, the new, larger 1910 cart reduces fill time and increases seeding time during the busy planting season. "For all of our larger John Deere carts, customers have a choice of a 10-inch auger or 12-inch conveyor for loading product in the cart. For the 550 cart, we have beefed up the front axles and made available larger, dual-caster front wheels to handle the added weight," Grove says.
The 550-bushel 1910 Commodity Cart is compatible with certain models of John Deere air seeders, including the 1830 Air Hoe Drill, the 1835 Air Hoe Drill with Single Fertilizer Placement, the 1890 No-Till Air Disk Drill, the 1895 No-Till Air Disk Drill with Separate Fertilizer Placement, and the 1870 Precision Hydraulic Air Hoe Drill. The 1910 cart is also compatible with many competitive seeding tools. There are 12 different sizes of 1910 carts for customers to choose from to match their seeding needs and tractor horsepower.
