Sep. 17, 2012 Source: World Food Prize Registration is now open for the 2012 Norman E. Borlaug International Symposium, also known as the Borlaug Dialogue. This year, the theme is "Partnerships and Priorities: Transforming the Global Food Security Agenda." The three-day symposium seeks to engage and explore the diverse, creative cross-section of stakeholders collaborating in the fight against hunger and poverty. The World Food Prize is honored to welcome numerous stakeholders and experts this year. Speakers will include: • International and governmental leaders, including HRH Princess Haya Bint Al Hussein, UN Messenger of Peace; H.E. Akin Adesina, Minister of Agriculture of Nigeria; and the Honorable Rajiv Shah, USAID Administrator; • Renowned scientists, academics, journalists and thought leaders, including Prof. M.S. Swaminathan, Dr. Marc Van Montagu, Dr. Robert Fraley, Sir Gordon Conway, J.
