North Dakota State University President Dr. Dean Bresciani says agriculture is providing more career opportunities than ever.
During the Ag Careers Summit at Big Iron, Bresciani said agriculture has become a STEM field-science, technology, engineering and math.
"The breadth of exciting opportunities in agriculture is unprecedented in human history and that sounds like hyperbole, but it is a field that has gone well beyond the traditional definitions of agriculture to genetics, biology, soil chemistry and the list goes on and on and on," said Bresciani,
"The opportunities are of a broader interest to more potential students than ever before in US history."
