Oct. 23, 2012 Source: SimmonsFlint Aimee Sugden has been hired at SimmonsFlint, a Grand Forks-based full-service and integrated marketing and communications agency with access to the regional network of the Flint Group agencies. As an account coordinator, she will work with clients from the healthcare, tourism, higher education, non-profit and agriculture industries. During her academic career, Sugden gained communications experience serving on the student government as the executive commissioner of public relations where she acted as communications advisor and press secretary to the student body president and his cabinet. Additionally, Sugden used her education and industry experience and served as a marketing assistant during an internship at a resort on Lake of the Woods. Sugden also completed an internship with United States Congressman Rick Berg. She is a native of Baudette, Minn., an area recognized for their prominence in the hospitality and tourism industry, adding to the experience she brings to the agency. Sugden is a member of the National Agri-Marketing Association and graduated from North Dakota State University with a bachelor's degree in public relations and advertising with minors in management communication and agriculture communication.
