AMERICAN SOYBEAN ASSN'S WISHH PROGRAM NAMES NEW AFRICA OFFICER
American Soybean Association (ASA) reports:

Josh Neiderman joined ASA on Oct. 18 as the new Africa Program Officer for ASA's World Initiative for Soy in Human Health (WISHH) program. Under the supervision of WISHH Africa Program Manager Erica Morrow, Neiderman will assist with WISHH projects in Africa.

Josh formerly worked with the United States Peace Corps as an agricultural and environmental extension agent in the African country of Zambia. He assisted with the Zambia Wildlife Authority in the implementation of improved agricultural practices in villages surrounding the Kafue National Park's game management areas. Josh's work focused on crop production and post-harvest storage that improved the livelihood of local Zambian farmers and subsequently decreasing instances of game poaching.

Originally from Kentucky, Neiderman received a bachelor's degree in American Studies from Georgetown College, and his master's degree in International Development from the Josef Korbel School of International Studies at the University of Denver.
