GROWMARK DONATES PROCEEDS OF SALE OF ITS COOKBOOK TO FARMERS FEEDING THE WORLD

GROWMARK, a regional agricultural cooperative, today announced a donation of $1,500.00 to Farmers Feeding the World, a result of sales from a special cookbook created for the International Year of Cooperatives.
GROWMARK System employees and friends submitted more than 1,000 tried-and-true recipes in a variety of categories to create the cookbook.
"One of the guiding principles of cooperatives is concern for community, and I was amazed at the response from our employees and friends in support of Farmers Feeding the World," said Karen Jones, GROWMARK publications and news specialist. "What better way to help an organization fighting hunger than by creating a cookbook?"
The limited-edition cookbook has sold out, but selected recipes from the book are being posted to a board on the the FS Pinterest site (www.pinterest.com/fsservices).
