Feb. 6, 2013 Source: QualiTech news release QualiTech®, Inc. recently welcomes two new team members in January adding to their quality assurance and marketing staff in Chaska, Minn. The Animal and Plant Nutrition divisions welcome quality assurance manager, Chris Schaefer and marketing manager, Jill Spiekerman Bonham. Chris Schaefer assumes the role of quality assurance manager for the Animal and Plant divisions. Schaefer developed and implemented quality and food safety programs and applications in operations and quality positions during the past 12 years. Most recently, he managed quality assurance and food safety with food manufacturer, Aryzta, LLC where he led the facility toward achieving British Retail Consortium (BRC) certification. Chris is also a Chief Petty Officer with the U.S. Coast Guard Reserve and graduated with a bachelor's of degree in biology and a minor in chemistry from the University of Minnesota, Duluth. Jill Spiekerman Bonham, APR, joins the company as marketing manager for the Animal and Plant Divisions. Bonham brings more than 25 years of marketing and public relations experience with both agencies and corporations in agriculture and consumer goods. Previously, she was a communications consultant working with agencies in Minneapolis and New York City and a lecturer at Iowa State University teaching public relations, media buying and media ethics. Bonham holds a bachelor's degree in agricultural communications from Michigan State University and a master's degree in communications leadership from Drake University. She earned her accreditation from the Public Relations Society of America. She is a member of the National Agri-Marketing Association, Ag Relations Council, American Association of Ag Editors and the Livestock Publications Council.
