Z TAGS, ANCW ANNOUNCE PARTNERSHIP TO PROMOTE NEW GROWTH INITIATIVE Feb. 20, 2013 Source: Z Tags North America news release Z Tags North America, L.P., a leading manufacturer and marketer of livestock identification ear tags worldwide, recently announced a new partnership with American National CattleWomen, Inc. to help promote ANCW's new growth initiative titled "The New Generation." The announcement was made during the National Cattlemen's Beef Association trade show in Tampa, FL. "We've been a strong supporter of ANCW for nearly 10 years," noted Stu Marsh, vice president of Z Tags North America. "So when the organization's new president, Barbara Jackson, approached us to become the President sponsor, we jumped at the opportunity. Our sponsorship is part of a 2013 initiative by the ANCW and state organizations to help cattlewomen promote the beef industry throughout the United States." In commenting on the new partnership, ANCW President Barbara Jackson stated, "We are thrilled to have Z Tags as our 2013 President sponsor. Through their generous support, the ANCW will be able to accelerate our growth initiative and make "The New Generation" of involved and empowered cattlewomen a reality. Specifically, this initiative will provide our members with the knowledge, tools and support necessary to help enhance their livestock operations while promoting beef consumption on the national, state and local levels." Along with monetary support, Z Tags will donate custom ear tags to be used as prizes for silent auctions, raffles and other fund-raising activities at national and state association annual meetings. "Since many cattlewomen are personally involved in the tagging of their livestock, this seemed to be the perfect sponsorship opportunity for our company," Marsh added. "Most cattlewomen find our one-piece Z Tags and patented break-away applicator much easier to use than conventional tags and applicators. So it's not surprising ANCW recognized Z Tags as the 'tag of choice' for its membership."
