 Feb. 27, 2013 Source: Texas Plant Protection Association news release During the recent Texas Plant Protection Association's Board of Directors Meeting, Officers for 2013 were elected. Chairman of the TPPA Board, H. Ray Smith with Biological Research Services, Inc. announced that the following will serve the association for 2013: President: Seth Murray, Texas A & M University, Department of Soil & Crop Sciences Vice President & Program Chairman: Dale Mott, Texas A & M AgriLife Extension Service Incoming VP & Poster Chairman: Eric Castner, Regional Technical Service Manager, Dupont Crop Protection Incoming VP-Elect: Elizabeth Pierson, Texas A & M University, Department of Horticultural Sciences Executive Director: Bob Sasser, TPPA Immediate Past President: Vernon Langston, R & D Field Scientist, Dow AgroSciences For the past 25 years, the non-profit professional Texas Plant Protection Association has sponsored educational conferences for all involved in production agriculture. These events have been successful due to the broad support of many leaders in Texas agriculture that represent academia, extension, research, consulting, agribusiness, farmers and regulatory.
