Mar. 13, 2013 Source: Agri Marketing magazine According to the Association of Equipment Manufacturers' monthly "Flash Report," the sales of all tractors in Canada for February 2013 were up 36% compared to the same month last year. For the year 2013, a total of 2,763 tractors were sold, which compares to 2,055 sold through February 2012. For the month, two-wheel-drive smaller tractor (under 40 HP) were up 34% from last year, and 40 & under 100 HP were up .8%. Sales of two-wheel-drive 100+ HP were up 71% from last year, and four-wheel-drive tractors were up 128% for the month. For the year, two-wheel drive smaller tractors (under 40 HP) are up 40% from last year, while 40 & under 100 HP are up 5%. Sales of 2-wheel drive 100+ HP are up 50%, while 4-wheel Drive tractors are up 128% for the year. Combine sales were up 59% for the month. Sales of combines for two months totaled 167, a increase of 21% over the same period in 2012. Tweet |
