U.S. CUSTOM HARVESTERS, INC. SUPPORTS PROGRESSIVE AGRICULTURE SAFETY DAY PROGRAM
Source: U.S. Custom Harvesters news release

U.S. Custom Harvesters, Inc. (USCHI) in Hutchinson, Kan., a membership association of professional custom harvesters, is a new sponsor of the Progressive Agriculture Safety Day® program. Their support will allow an additional 385 rural youth and adults to attend a farm Safety Day program this year.

"Safety is one of our main objectives," says Kent Braathen, USCHI president. "During harvest season especially, our members put in long hours and spend months on the road. Safety is critical, and it's something we've stressed for years. We're pleased to support the Progressive Agriculture Foundation® (PAF) - and their farm Safety Day program - in their endeavors to keep farm and ranch families safe and healthy."

"We welcome U.S. Custom Harvesters, Inc. to our growing list of corporate, organizational, foundation and individual sponsors," says Randy J. Bernhardt, CFRE, chief administrative officer of the Progressive Agriculture Foundation. "Because of partnerships like this, PAF will provide essential farm safety and health education for nearly 100,000 rural youth and adults throughout North America in 2013."

Both USCHI and PAF are National Ag Day sponsors. Celebrated in Washington, D.C., on March 19, National Ag Day recognizes the abundance provided by agriculture. Together, producers, agricultural associations, corporations, universities, government agencies and others promote the importance of agriculture across America.
