25 WINNERS OF FMC'S "CONQUER WITH CADET" SWEEPSTAKES WINNERS ANNOUNCED
Source: FMC news release

Twenty-five randomly drawn growers, ag retailers and consultants have been selected as winners of the Conquer with Cadet® Sweepstakes hosted by FMC Agricultural Products. More than 1,000 participants registered at www.FMCcadet.com while hearing Cadet success stories from fellow corn and soybean growers.

"We want to thank everyone who went online to learn how Cadet helps to add control and flexibility to weed management systems," said Tim Thompson, FMC Agricultural Products North America product manager. "The success stories show how crop protection products work best as part of a system. I am excited so many growers and retailers are thinking in those terms."

Five first prize winners, including: Gayle Heise of Easton, Minn.; Jeff Plenty of Palmyra, Wis.; Mike Lemmon of Ashmore, Ill.; Chet Delbridge of Brookings, S.D.; and Gary Frecks of Cambridge, Neb.; received $250 Home Depot gift cards. Twenty second prize winners received $100 Home Depot gift cards.

"In a year like this, growers are spraying acre-by-acre, sometimes moving from corn to soybeans multiple times per tank, as conditions allow," said Thompson. "Cadet herbicide provides that flexibility with the confidence that one pass will control their toughest weeds."

Cadet herbicide provides strong application flexibility for use in both corn and soybeans and can be applied as a preplant and foliar application. An ideal choice for controlling velvetleaf, lambsquarters and other broadleaf weeds, Cadet is a flexible and valuable tank mix ally. Applied in a tank mix with glyphosate or other herbicides, Cadet also helps to burn down tough broadleaf weeds to get the fields ready for planting earlier. This results in better weed control for higher quality crops and yields.
