NEW LEADER ANNOUNCES STAFFING CHANGES

Highway Equipment Co., the manufacturer of New Leader crop nutrient applicators, recently announced Jim Shebetka has been promoted to vice president - sales and Mike Podoll has been promoted to vice president - engineering. With a combined 40 years of experience, New Leader is confident that both Shebetka and Podoll will bring continued success to both of their departments.

In addition, John Rathjen recently joined the company as New Leader OEM account manager. Rathjen comes to New Leader with a wealth of experience in the industry, having worked the several years at P&K Midwest Inc.

"These organizational changes were made to ensure continued growth and better align the organization with our strategic goals," said Rocki Shepard, president and CEO. "Highway Equipment Co. has experienced tremendous growth over the past several years, and we attribute this success to the talented people who make up our organization."

Established in 1939, Highway Equipment Co. is a manufacturer of New Leader crop nutrient applicators for the agricultural industry, and Hi-Way deicing spreaders and road maintenance equipment for state, federal and municipal entities, as well as for private contractors. New Leader and Hi-Way products are distributed through more than 200 dealers throughout North America and around the world.
