AG ELECTRONICS FOUNDATION ADDS NEW CORE MEMBER
Association of Equipment Manufacturers (AEM) reports:

The Agricultural Industry Electronics Foundation (AEF) affirmed its growing importance to global ag equipment manufacturers with the additions of a seventh core member and a fourth independent test lab.

AEF is a global standardization initiative formed in 2008 by agricultural technology companies AGCO, Claas, CNH, Grimme, John Deere, Kverneland Group and Poettinger, as well as AEM and the German machinery association, VDMA. AEM provides the staff secretary for AEF.

SAME DEUTZ-FAHR, headquartered in Treviglio, Italy, has joined the leadership of AEF as its seventh core member and a member of the AEF steering committee.

With the addition of SAME DEUTZ-FAHR, the AEF steering committee now includes all five of the long-line agricultural equipment manufacturers who operate internationally.

Lodovico Bussolati, CEO of SAME DEUTZ-FAHR, stated, "Our company is really satisfied with its new status of core member on the steering committee. We strongly believe we will achieve our ISOBUS compatibility goals more easily when all ag equipment producers, in particular the global players, are pulling in the same direction."
