BLACK GOLD FARMS' HALVERSON NAMED 2013 POTATO MAN FOR ALL SEASONS
Red River Farm Network reports:

Black Gold Farms President and CEO Gregg Halverson was named the 2013 Potato Man for All Seasons by The Packer, and thegrower.com.

Halverson was a humble recipient. "It's nice to be recognized, but really it's not me, we've got a team put together and they are the people that do the heavy lifting; I'm appreciative of the award, but it is the folks on the farms that make it all happen."

The farm started in 1928 and Black Gold now grows potatoes on over 20,000 acres in 11 states. The operation is headquartered in Grand Forks, North Dakota.
