21ST CENTURY WATER TECHNOLOGIES BECOMES LARGEST ECO-DRIP IRRIGATION DEALER
Source: 21st Century Water Technologies news release

21st Century Water Technologies has entered into an exclusive dealership agreement with Eco-Drip Irrigation to design, install and service subsurface drip irrigation (SDI) systems in parts of a four-state area.

21st Century Water Technologies is a wholly owned subsidiary of 21st Century Equipment, a large regional John Deere agricultural dealership, with 15 locations in western Nebraska and eastern Colorado.

The new relationship with Eco-Drip is intended to accelerate the introduction of large-scale SDI technology across the entire region by leveraging the existing 21st Century Equipment agricultural sales infrastructure. The agreement will impact 21st Century Equipment customers in western Nebraska and eastern Colorado, as well as parts of eastern Wyoming and western South Dakota.

"Our corporate mission is to help our customers make every drop of water count and to make farming easier," said Owen Palm, CEO of 21st Century Equipment. "Eco-Drip Irrigation was a pioneer in subsurface drip technology and has experience and proven results that span decades.

We are excited and proud to bring Eco-Drip Irrigation innovation to our customers, since it aligns perfectly with our commitment to help our customers reduce risk, improve profitability and increase their competitive advantage."

Eco-Drip Irrigation has been specializing in SDI since the company was founded by Hubert Frerich in 1984. Backed by the experience of over 200,000 installed acres, Eco-Drip provides complete SDI systems including design, materials, and in-field support. Eco-Drip has six company-owned locations in Texas, Oklahoma and Nebraska.

Subsurface drip irrigation dramatically improves water efficiency by delivering irrigation water under the soil surface at the plant root level. The technology dramatically reduces water use and evaporation, while improving plant performance, health and yield. Eco-Drip Irrigation has also developed RootritionŽ, a proprietary fertilizer blend designed specifically for delivery through its root-zone irrigation systems.

"21st Century Water Technologies is strategically located in areas that will allow us to quickly grow the SDI market and help more growers enjoy the benefits of this technology," said Craig Hoelscher, COO and vice president of sales for Eco-Drip Irrigation.

"21st Century is known for innovation, knowledge and a high level of customer service. This relationship leverages the strengths of two leading brands in agriculture-and that will be of great benefit to farmers who are seeking solutions to improving the efficiency and results of their irrigation management."
