GREG KRISSEK NAMED CEO OF KS CORN GROWERS ASSN, KS CORN COMMISSION AND KS SORGHUM PRODUCERS ASSN.

Greg Krissek began his duties today as CEO of the Kansas Corn Growers Association, Kansas Corn Commission and Kansas Grain Sorghum Producers Association. Krissek has nearly 25 years of experience working with agriculture, ethanol, renewable energy projects and public policy.

"Greg worked for our groups from 2000 to 2003 and we are happy to welcome him back," Kansas Corn Growers Association President Bob Timmons said. "Greg has a solid background in agriculture. His expertise in ethanol, public policy and administration will be a great benefit to our association."

Krissek fills the position of Jere White, who announced his retirement on February 12. White had been the executive director of Kansas Corn and Kansas Sorghum since 1988.

Previously, Krissek served as Assistant Secretary at the Kansas Department of Agriculture; Director of Operations at Kansas Corn and Kansas Grain Sorghum; Director of Government Affairs for ICM Inc. and, most recently was a manager at Kennedy and Coe, LLC. Krissek has served on many ethanol and agricultural association boards and on seven ethanol plant boards of directors.

Greg holds a B.A. in Economics and Political Science from Rockhurst University in Kansas City as well as a law degree and MBA from the University of Denver.
