STUDY SHOWS CONSUMERS WON'T PAY MORE FOR NON-GM FOODS
Red River Farm Network reports:

New research from the NPD Group finds two-thirds of primary grocery shoppers will not pay more for foods made without biotech ingredients.

For those who primarily shop at specialty stores, however, half said they will pay more for a non-GMO product.

More than half of U.S. consumers indicated some concern about GMOs, but many expressed uncertainty or ambivalence. Despite the controversy, 44 percent of shoppers think GMOs may offer benefits.
