Source: Rabo AgriFinance news release

World-renowned research from a team of global experts is what sets Rabo AgriFinance apart from other agricultural lenders.

To provide more exclusive research to their clients, Rabo AgriFinance has added Stephen Nicholson, a seasoned ag and food economist, to the Rabobank Food & Agribusiness Research (FAR) and Advisory group. Nicholson works out of the St. Louis office.

Sterling Liddell, Vice President with the Rabobank Food & Agribusiness Research (FAR) and Advisory group, says Nicholson's 30 year of experience in cash grain markets, hedging, commodity/ingredient procurement, commodity risk management and commodity analysis make him an excellent addition to the global team.

"Stephen has a terrific background in compiling outlooks and working with clients in the food and ag sectors," says Liddell. "I know his experience will bring a valuable level of insight to our clients."

An Iowa native, Nicholson holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in Farm Operations/Agricultural Education and Masters of Science in Agricultural Economics from Iowa State University. Prior to Rabo AgriFinance, he was a Category Manager/Chief Economist with International Food Products, a trader and distributor of food ingredients.

Responsibilities include procurement and trading of vegetable oils, corn sweeteners, starches and grain products, along with consulting assignments. He has also worked as a Senior Economist with Doane Agricultural and in procurement with The Coca-Cola Company in Atlanta.

At Coca-Cola, he was responsible for the analysis of feed grains and sweetener as well as the corn buyer for Coca-Cola's North American sweetener (HFCS) requirements. Mr. Nicholson has also worked in politics, as an agricultural liaison.

"I am pleased to be working with the analysts and clients at Rabo AgriFinance because we have such knowledgeable colleagues around the world to draw on," says Nicholson.
