CASE IH TO REDUCE WORKFORCE AT ITS NEBRASKA PLANT
Grand Island (NE)Independent reports:

The CNH plant in Grand Island will be reducing its workforce beginning in late May, according to a statement provided by company officials on Thursday.

"CNH Industrial will reduce a maximum of 200 third-party agency positions from May 30 through June 30 due to a reduction in orders at the Grand Island, Neb., plant," said a company statement from Kathleen Prause, CNH Industrial external corporate communications manager.

"No CNH Industrial hourly or salaried employees will be impacted due to this change," the statement said.

The statement went on to say, "Today's announcement concerns only the Grand Island, Neb., production facility and does not impact any other industrial locations in the United States."

There was no further information provided by CNH officials about the announcement.

The Grand Island plant at 3445 W. Stolley Park Road manufactures combines and several types of hay and forage equipment, according to a company website, www.caseih.com.

Three models of combines - New Holland CR, Case IH 2300 and Case IH AFX 8010 - are manufactured on the same assembly line, making the Grand Island facility the only CNH Industrial plant to utilize mixed-model production, according to www.cnhindustrial.com.

The Grand Island facility has approximately 800 employees and more than 800,000 square feet of manufacturing space. -
