Tractor Supply Company (NASDAQ: TSCO), the largest rural lifestyle retail store chain in the United States, today announced the opening of its 1,300th store, as the Company continues to grow toward its stated opportunity of 2,100 domestic store locations. The 1,300th store, located in Bullhead City, AZ, will celebrate its grand opening on March 29, 2014.

"The opening of our 1,300th store marks another milestone in Tractor Supply's 76-year history. We have grown significantly, but our commitment to our mission and values and being the most dependable supplier of basic maintenance products has not changed," said Greg Sandfort, President and Chief Executive Officer. "While we are pleased with our progress, we are even more excited about our Company's future and the tremendous growth opportunities ahead."

Tractor Supply operates stores in every state with the exception of Alaska and Utah. The Company continues to expand its presence in the West, as it entered Arizona, Nevada, and Wyoming in 2013 and anticipates opening its first store in Utah later this year.

"We continue to be very pleased with the performance of Tractor Supply's new stores and our western expansion," said Lee Downing, Senior Vice President, Store Operations. "We look forward to supporting the community in Bullhead City, AZ, by providing customers with a one-stop shop for items to care for their home, land, pets and animals."

Founded by Charles E. Schmidt in 1938, Tractor Supply has evolved from a specialty mail-order tractor parts business to a leading retailer serving the rural lifestyle in 48 states, with annual sales in excess of $5 billion. Tractor Supply recently became a member of the S&P 500 Index and the NASDAQ 100 Index.
