Farm Equipment magazine reports:

According to published reports, Papé Machinery, Eugene, OR, has acquired Floyd A. Boyd, a John Deere farm and turf equipment dealer group. Floyd A. Boyd first handled International Harvester and then took on the Deere ag and turf contract in 1984.

The dealership operated four Oregon locations in Central Point, Madras, Merrill and Bend, and one northern California store in Fall River Mills.

Papé Machinery is based in Eugene, Ore.

With the acquisition of Floyd A. Boyd, Papé will operate 21 John Deere ag and turf stores: 13 in Oregon, 5 in Washington and 3 in Idaho. The company also owns 21 Deere construction dealerships 6 in Oregon, 7 in Washington, 7 in California and 1 in Nevada.

Terms of the deal were not disclosed.

Boyd is a third-generation John Deere agricultural and turf equipment dealer with operations in Central Point, Bend, Madras and Merrill in Oregon, and Fall River Mills in Northern California. Papé said it will continue to operate these dealerships.
