ELEGACY SERVICE FOR FARM FAMILY PLANNING LAUNCHED
Source: Paulsen Marketing news release

Paulsen client Legacy by Design introduced eLegacyConnect to a packed house during the recent Commodity Classic in San Antonio, Texas, in early March. Over 500 corn, soybean, wheat and sorghum producers attended the break-out session devoted to "Succession Planning for Farm Families" presented by Kevin Spafford, founder of Legacy by Design.

eLegacyConnect.com is an online resource designed to provide succession solutions for farmers, ranchers and agribusiness owners. The site was designed, developed and programmed by Paulsen's interactive team in conjunction with Kevin Spafford.

According to Spafford, eLegacyConnect provides a wealth of information on all aspects of successfully transitioning ownership of a farming operation from one generation to the next. The site hosts an action plan, interactive tools, a roster of advisors and a library of resources to help a family work through the often confusing and emotional process of putting a succession plan in place.

"We were pleased to have such a large crowd attend our Succession Planning break-out session during the Commodity Classic," said Spafford. "There continues to be a growing interest in this topic as farm families seek information and solutions on how to go about the succession planning process. eLegacyConnect is an excellent resource for those families seeking guidance with the process."

Tara Young, digital project manager at Paulsen, said this was one of the largest, most complex websites the agency has created.

"eLegacyConnect.com is a huge reference library of information and resources to assist today's farm families in creating an effective succession plan," she explained. "Our interactive team is proud of the end result and the opportunity to play a role in creating this online community."
