GENERAL MILLS AFFIRMS GMO FOODS ARE SAFE
Red River Farm Network reports:

In January, General Mills announced it would stop sourcing GMO corn starch and sugarcane for its original Cheerios, and label them non-GMO.

Now, according to Feedstuffs, in General Mills' 2014 Global Responsibility report, the company affirms biotechnology as key to addressing feeding a growing population.

General Mills says it finds broad and deep global consensus among food and safety regulatory bodies that approved GMO ingredients are safe.
