GROUPS FILE AMENDED LAWSUIT TO CANCEL NEONICOTINOIDS REGISTRATIONS
CropLife America (CLA) reports:

On May 9th activist groups and beekeepers filed a second amended complaint in Ellis v. Bradbury, a federal lawsuit that asks the court to cancel several conditional and unconditional registrations of products containing neonicotinoids.

The complaint was filed in response to an April 18th decision by the district court for the Northern District of California that dismissed, in whole or in part, eight of plaintiffs' original 14 ESA and FIFRA claims.

Going forward, CLA and industry intervenors will continue to vigorously defend EPA's lawful registrations of these products.

Intervenors' responsive pleading is due May 27th.
