BRIGHTON AGENCY ANNOUNCES THE HIRE OF THREE MARKETING INDUSTRY VETERANS
Source: Brighton Agency news release

Brighton Agency has announced the recent hiring of three St. Louis marketing veterans: digital innovator Tom Pallesen, media marketing veteran Nancy Long and ag-comm aficionado Steve Grana. These experienced new hires will all contribute to the development of Brighton's clients, and oversee the cooperative efforts within their individual accounts.

Pallesen joins the digital department of Brighton as the Director of Interactive, with approximately 30 years of experience in the digital design world. His educational background is the typical odd mélange of many of the early pioneers of interactive design and development. He has advanced degrees in computer and mathematical modeling and geochemistry.

Pallesen owned Black Box Technologies, one of the first digital agencies in the United States, and later led the interactive division at Adamson Advertising. He directed the e-commerce and digital marketing efforts of Life Uniform and several other national retailers.

He has worked in usability and user-centered design at NISC, Wells Fargo Advisors and Monsanto, and his long list of past agency clients includes Warner Brothers, MasterCard, Disney, Earthgrains, Ford Motor Co., Elsevier and Ralston Purina.

Long joins Brighton's Pet Team as a Senior Account Manager, with decades of experience working for top media outlets in St. Louis. In addition to spending 21 years at the Post-Dispatch newspaper as the Vice President of Marketing,

Long has worked at KMOX radio and other local media. She is a resident of Columbia, Ill., and a board member of the Columbia School District Private Revenue and In-kind Donations for Education (PRIDE) Foundation.

Grana joins Brighton as an Account Manager within the Agricultural Department. Prior to his recent hire, Grana was an Account Manager at AdFarm, providing expertise to several clients in the agricultural industry, and had also spent several years at Novus International, an animal nutrition company.

Grana also donates his time and strong managerial skills as the director of an annual charity event, Walk for Willow, helping to raise money for a rare brain disorder called Polymicrogyria (PMG).
