AGRICULTURAL COMPANIES' STOCK VALUES EVEN WITH DOW JONES INDEX'S GAIN

The portfolio of stocks organized by Agri Marketingmagazine were up an average of 1.5% for the first half of 2014, compared to the Dow Jones up 1.5%%, S&P 500 up 6% and NASDAQ up 5.5%.

The Agri Marketing portfolio is comprised of 29 companies who have significant agricultural interests.

Since its inception on January 1, 2006, the Agri Marketing portfolio has gained 161% compared to the S&P 500's gain of 29%.

The first half's five biggest gainers were:

1. Eli Lilly (Elanco Animal Health)...+26%

2. Dow Chemical (Dow AgroSciences)...+19%

3. Potash Corp...+18%

4. CHS (Co-op)...+12%

5. Monsanto...+10%

Those companies posting the largest losses were:

1. American Vanguard (crop protection)...(44%)

2. The Mosaic Co. (plant nutrients)...(28%)

3. Tractor Supply Co....(20%)

4. MWI Veterinary Supply...(14%)

5. The Anderson...(5%)
