CARGILL'S UKRAINE FACILITY SEIZED
Wall Street Journal reports:

Cargill Inc. said its sunflower-seed processing plant in eastern Ukraine has been seized by "armed individuals" amid escalating violence. The agribusiness conglomerate halted operations at the plant on July 4 due to increasing tension in the area.

No Cargill employees are present at the facility, which produces sunflower oil and meal, according to a Cargill spokeswoman.

"The plant has subsequently been occupied by a small number of armed individuals whose intentions are not clear to us," she wrote in an emailed statement. Cargill "cannot predict" when the plant may reopen, she said.
