TITAN TIRE DEVELOPS 2ND GENERATION STUBBLE GUARD, NEW GUARANTEE PROGRAM
Source: Titan Tire news release

Titan Tire Corporation, a subsidiary of Titan International Inc., has developed a new second-generation (G2) Stubble Guard compound, which will be used on all radial Titan and Goodyear Farm Tires for better protection from stubble and stalk damage.

Along with this, all agricultural Titan and Goodyear Farm Tires are now protected under a new 90-day satisfaction guarantee program.

"We sent test tires throughout the country, putting the Stubble Guard G2 compound tires on one side of the tractors and standard compound tires on the other. After thousand of hours in the field, we are very confident that the Stubble Guard G2 compound will outperform and outlast previous-generation compounds," said Scott Sloan, agricultural product manager for Titan and Goodyear Farm Tires.

"We're also introducing a 90-day guarantee, and together, these efforts are just two more ways to give growers peace of mind that their tires will be running when they need them."

Stubble Guard G2 compound

The new compound was designed with a synthetic formulation based on earthmover tire technology, creating a tougher, more damage-resistant tread. In test trials, the compound performed better than traditional compound tires, showing fewer "peck" marks and other visible signs of stubble and stalk damage.

90-day guarantee

The "No Excuses 90-day Customer Satisfaction Program" covers all Titan and Goodyear Farm Tire brand bias and radial R-1, R-1W, R-2, R-3, R-4, I-3, HF-1, HF-2, HF-3 and skid steer tires. The program promises complete satisfaction or a full refund of the tire purchase price when returned within 90 days of the original date of purchase. Tires acquired through the purchase of new equipment can be returned to an authorized dealer and will be replaced with comparable Titan or Goodyear Farm Tires at no charge and free labor.
