Source: Conservation In Action Tour news release

CTIC announces The Mosaic Company as Tour Leader sponsor for the 2014 Conservation in Action Tour. For the fourth year in a row, this CTIC Gold Corporate Member is supporting the annual tour, which showcases producers who find success with conservation systems.

The tour will take place Oct. 14-15 in Florida's Everglades Agricultural Area and promises participants educational field visits, technology demonstrations and opportunities to speak directly with growers about their on-farm solutions to natural resources issues.

"At Mosaic, we believe in higher crop yields and good environmental stewardship," said Ben Pratt, CTIC board member and vice president of corporate public affairs at The Mosaic Company. "We are pleased to continue our support of CTIC and its Conservation in Action Tour, which promotes innovative farming practices that generate strong yields and support natural resource conservation."

Producers, legislators, government agency representatives, agribusiness, members of the media and others involved in agriculture will be part of the tour.

Learn more about the tour at www.ctic.org/CIATours and register today. Registration includes an evening social on Oct. 14 and snacks, bus transportation, breakfast, lunch and dinner on the Oct. 15 tour. Early registration runs through Sept. 1.

"The Mosaic Company shares CTIC's commitment to conservation," Pratt said. "The Conservation in Action Tour brings together a large and diverse group of stakeholders in the future of sustainable agriculture, and we are proud to encourage their collaboration on critical conservation challenges."

The Mosaic Company is the world's leading producer and marketer of concentrated phosphate and potash, two of the primary nutrients required to grow the food the world needs. The Mosaic Company, a longtime CTIC member, also helps fund projects such as celebrations for CTIC's 30th Anniversary, the Indian Creek Watershed Project and the Watershed Implementation and Innovation Network.
