Source: AgVenture news release

AgVenture, Inc. continues to grow in scope, acres, reach and personnel. The nation's largest network of independently owned and operated Regional Seed Companies (RSCs) has welcomed Frank Peterson to serve as Western Regional Business Development Manager. Peterson brings three decades of experience and expertise to RSCs from the Dakotas to the Gulf, and from the Rockies to the Mississippi River.

Dave Treinen, AgVenture, Inc. General Manager said, "Our RSC network is growing. We continue to gain more customers. We continue to earn 100 percent of our customers' business. Our products and year-round professional seed support together have a positive and significant impact on their bottom line."

Treinen added, "With our continued growth, we are pleased to welcome Frank to our leadership team. He is an important addition to our network, and is uniquely equipped to provide our RSCs with the guidance and direction that best allows them to do what they do best - help every grower realize greater profitability on every acre.

Peterson has most recently been a successful independent business owner and operator. He said, "Having personally experienced the demands and challenges of independent business ownership, I can relate to our RSC owners. They are a remarkable group of seedsmen and business professionals.

Their commitment to their customers' success comes first each and every time. They attract and build strong teams of employees who share their vision. The success and growth of these companies across the region is testament to the both the products and the people."

Peterson worked for a decade in the corporate seed business with Novartis where he served in leadership, sales and business development roles. His early career was in the ag retail and fertilizer business, working in the western Cornbelt. He remains active in the family farm in South Dakota.
