MIDWEST INGREDIENTS ANNOUNCES STRATEGIC PARTNERSHIP WITH V.I.M. RECYCLERS

Midwest Ingredients, Princevill, IL, a leading distributor for a wide variety of food, feed and byproducts throughout the continental United States and Canada has announced that is has developed a strategic business relationship with V.I.M Recyclers.
V.I.M helps companies divert material from entering their waste stream. V.I.M supplies and maintains recycling equipment, trains workers and markets recyclable materials. Some of the industrial recyclables include: paper, multi-wall ingredient bags, cardboard, wax cardboard, plastics, and much more.
Mark Grimm, Sales Manager from V.I.M, gives an example of how this alliance came together. "We have followed the progress of Midwest Ingredients over the last several years and are impressed with their expertise in feed manufacturing and the value they could provide our clients. An alliance such as this is only more beneficial to our current and future customers."
V.I.M has been in operation for over two decades, providing a much-needed recycling program for large manufacturing companies. This alliance provides both parties the opportunity to co-market. For example, when V.I.M goes to a cookie manufacturer to handle the paper and cardboard waste, instead of just working on the recyclable end V.I.M will now ask what they do with broken cookies, which provides more of a value added service where Midwest Ingredients can use expertise. When V.I.M handles recycling they can handle the entire waste stream.
"By creating this strategic alliance with V.I.M it increased our tonnage, and exposure because V.I.M holds many contacts and provides easy solutions. We make sure how we haul or handle any material meet's our customer's expectations. This is also environmentally friendly because we are not land filling or flushing the product. We now save our customers on their landfill and flushing costs," explains Lalette Debord, Vice-President of Midwest Ingredients.
For the last 12 years, Midwest Ingredients has provided an efficient system for distributing food, feed and byproducts.
