OH-MI EQUIPMENT DEALER ASSOC'S KAHLER TO BE HONORED AT NO-TILL CONFERENCE Jan. 2, 2008
Farm Equipment magazine reports:
Farm Equipment magazine is recognizing David Kahler (former CEO of Ohio-Michigan Equipment Dealers Assn.) with a special "Distinguished Service Award" during the 16th Annual National No-Tillage Conference on Thursday, January 10, at the Netherland Hilton Hotel, Cincinnati, Ohio.
Kahler spent his entire 38-year career advancing the interests of equipment dealers, the last 20 as CEO of the association serving Ohio and Michigan. "Through his dedicated efforts in working with dealers, he has also helped farmers a great deal, far more than most realize," says Mike Lessiter, editor/publisher.
In addition to receiving his award from Farm Equipment staff, Kahler is also participating in the 3rd Annual Farm Equipment Dealer-Only Training Event, which includes several dealers (from Ohio, Missouri and Pennsylvania) who will address what it takes for dealers to succeed in no-till, strip-till and precision agriculture as the universe of farmers practicing conservation tillage continues to grow.
For more information or to register for the half-day event (which includes a full pass to the entire 4-day National No-Tillage Conference), contact Bree Greenawalt (breeg@lesspub.com), 800/645-8455, ext. 408. Pre-registration is required, and the special rate of $99 is offered only to full-time farm equipment dealer personnel.
