NORTHWEST AG INFORMATION NETWORK NAMES NEW FARM BROADCASTER

Northwest Ag Information Network, recently hired David W. Sparks, Ph.D, as their new Idaho farm broadcaster. David will replace Bill Scott who is retiring January 1. David Sparks will be the voice for the Idaho Farm Bureau Report and host of Today's Idaho Ag News.

"We are excited to have David join our team of news reporters, I am hopeful that his extensive background in television broadcast will provide the company with new venues for communicating with today's farmers and ranchers." said Kelly Allen, President of Northwest Ag Information Network. We plan to use him to inform, educate and entertain both agriculture and the general listening audiences."

Sparks has 25 years of media-related television experience. He has hosted an ESPN outdoors show, PM Magazine, news programs and early in his career an NBC game show. Outside of the studio, David is an avid tennis player and also participates in a competitive senior hockey league. He received his doctorate in audiology/psychoacoustics at Northwestern University.
