HARVEST PR OFFERS NON-PROFIT PR GRANT VALUED AT $20,000
Source: Harvest PR & Marketing news release

This spring, Harvest PR & Marketing, Inc. commences its fifth season in Portland, Ore., and the opening of a new location in Minneapolis. To celebrate, the firm is sowing a new pro bono initiative, Seed to Succeed, that gives back to the food and agriculture industries the firm values and serves.

Any U.S. non-profit organization connected to the production and/or marketing of food, fuel or fiber, or committed to the cause of promoting general agriculture or rural development, is encouraged to apply for a grant of PR services valued at up to $20,000.

"Our goal at Harvest PR is to support the stewards of the land and the quality products that they deliver to market," says Heidi Nelson, founder and principal of the boutique public relations and marketing firm. "We are proud to give back to one worthy non-profit that shares our values."

After reviewing all submissions and selecting a non-profit partner, Harvest PR will donate up to $20,000 in time toward a campaign or project to be completed within one year. The two parties will work together to determine the needs and services to be performed.

RFP entries due May 15. Qualified organizations interested in pro bono marketing services from Harvest PR can download more information from Harvest PR's Web site (www.Harvest-PR.com). All submissions are due Friday, May 15, at 5 p.m. PST. The non-profit recipient will be announced May 25. Work will commence June 2009.
