STINE SEED COMPANY LAUNCHES AGRONOMY WEBSITE

Stine Seed Company has launched its new Web site, redesigned as an agronomy-focused site for farmers. With new sections, such as the Ask the Agronomist blog and the ability to retrieve information specific to the farmer's agronomy region, the site is unique amongst other seed companies in the United States.

"The new Web site allows us to better provide our grower-customers with resources related to planting and growing in their specific region," says David Thompson, national marketing and sales director for Stine Seed Company.

Features unique to the new Web site include:

* My Stine Agronomy: Growers can select an agronomy region to list information specific to their area, including crop updates, pest and weed control ideas and other news and information.

* Ask the Agronomist BlogL Stine's 19 agronomists contribute to this blog where anything and everything goes in agronomy. Readers can submit questions directly to their specific agronomists or to the general mailbox and have it answered on the blog.

* Interactive Publications: Learn more about current Stine corn and soybean brands with an online magazine style

* Interactive catalog: Learn more about the company in the Stine: 30 Years of Performance Seed interactive history book.

* Dealer Locator: Find a Stine Seed dealer near you with thistoolthat offers users the ability to search by dealer name, city, state, zip code and distance.

* Videos and YouTube channel: Embedded throughout the site are videos about Stine Seeds' rich history, to the science of seed. In addition, Stine agronomists post videos about their region on the blog and YouTube channel.

* Profitability Calculator: Compare Stine Seed products to competitors' products and see which is the best value per acre.

* Corn and Soybean Development Timelines: Learn how long it takes to create the best yielding seeds in the business.

* Corn and Soybean Comparison Charts: This tool gives farmers the ability to compare Stine's soybean or corn lines against one another to find the best product for their specific planting area. A helpful chart is created by the system for a side-by-side comparison.

* Media Resources: Members of the media looking for richer content including photos, blog content and videos will find it in the enhanced newsroom. From the latest news about Stine Seed to news about what's happening in agriculture today, this section provides rich information for the media.
