FEMA ELECTS ORTHMAN MFG'S MCCOY AS ITS PRESIDENT

Farm Equipment Manufacturers Association (FEMA) reports:
During the 59th annual Fall Convention, Nov. 4-7, 2009, in Atlanta, GA, the Farm Equipment Manufacturers Association elected John McCoy, Orthman Mfg. Inc., as President.
Mr. McCoy has served on the Association's Board since 2001, fulfilling a wide variety of duties including: 1st Vice President, 2nd Vice President, Secretary, and Chairman of the Membership Committee. He also serves on the Risk Management Committee and the Dealer Relations Committee.
Mr. McCoy is the President and Owner of Orthman Manufacturing, Inc., founded by Henry Orthman in 1965. Located in the heart of American agriculture in Lexington, NE, the company serves a worldwide agricultural marketplace. Orthman's foundation is built on the principle that in order to design and manufacture industry leading products, quality relationships must be present between the manufacturer, dealers, and end users.
Along with his commitments to the Farm Equipment Manufacturers Association, McCoy is a Board member of the Kearney Catholic High School Foundation, and the Council for Economic Development in Lexington. He is a past Committee Member of the Lexington Chamber Agri-Business Committee, the Central Community College Agricultural Steering Committee, and the Congregational Chairman of Holy Cross Lutheran Church in Kearney. He also belongs to the Nebraska Chapter of the International Organization of Young Presidents.
Additionally, Mr. McCoy is the 2009 Recipient of the Agri Award sponsored by the Triumph of Agriculture Exposition for "contributions to Agriculture Development in the Midwest and the State of Nebraska".
