PIONEER HI-BRED TO HIRE ADD MORE AGRONOMY EXPERTS
Source: Pioneer Hi-Bred news release

Pioneer Hi-Bred, a DuPont business, is expanding its team of agronomic experts to ensure that farmers have access to even more product information and agronomic support.

Twenty additional agronomy experts across the United States will be hired to further strengthen Pioneer's agronomic services and corn and soybean product advancement efforts.

"For more than 85 years, farmers have relied on Pioneer to deliver top-notch agronomic information and support. We're excited to build on that strong foundation with even more agronomic experts across the country," says Judd O'Connor, vice president and regional director, U.S. "With more agronomists in the field, we can deliver the right product on the right acre to ensure our customers maximize productivity on every acre.

"Over the past six years, Pioneer has doubled the number of field employees in the United States," says O'Connor. "This expansion in the agronomy team builds on a national network of agronomists created in 2011 to manage our extensive product advancement program, IMPACTTM trials."

Pioneer IMPACTTM (Intensively Managed Product Advancement, Characterization and Training) trials are plots grown in local producers' fields and are the key data source to support product commercialization. This local approach ensures that products are tested extensively in the region where they will be grown to optimize product placement and performance in producers' fields.

Pioneer will be searching for top talent to fill current sales and agronomy openings, as well as the newly created jobs in the coming weeks. For a listing of job openings, visit careers at www.pioneer.com.
