Weekly Comments: Corn futures trade turned extremely volatile amid continued uncertainty about planting conditions. The market rallied up to overhead chart resistance, but ended the week back near recent lows as weather forecasts cleared up. Wheat futures surged to new highs again on further concerns about crop production in the U.S., Europe and Australia, but the rally ran out of steam at midweek amid indications the market was overbought. Soybean futures made new lows on Tuesday, but then found support from improved forecasts for corn planting, which eased  concerns about acreage shifting.
