Weekly Comments: Wheat futures rocketed to the upside the first three days of the week on surging concerns about tight world supplies spurred by the return of heavy rains to the U.S. HRW wheat belt and continued drought in Ukraine and Russia. Corn futures broke out to the upside on increasing concerns about dryness in the eastern Corn Belt and the breakout by wheat futures.  Soybean futures also posted solid gains for the week on weather and acreage concerns despite some midweek profit taking. Cotton futures broke out to strong gains on signs of lower U.S. acreage and ongoing drought in the Delta/Southeast. Lean hog futures got a solid boost from seasonal strength in wholesale pork prices.
