Comments: Grain and soybean futures bounced back last week as economic concerns eased amid a strong rebound in U.S. stock markets and modest strength in crude oil prices. Continued good export sales to China and dry weather in Argentina also supported soybean futures, while corn futures gains were limited by continued poor export sales. Live cattle futures rebounded on speculative short covering spurred by oversold conditions and futures' discount to cash prices as economic worries eased. Lean hog futures continued to rally in anticipation of smaller hog supplies and seasonally stronger demand. Cotton futures bounced back strongly as technically-driven short covering added to support from a Chinese interest rate cut.
