Comments: Grain and soybean futures found general support last week from month-end position evening by speculators. Corn futures led soybeans and wheat higher, finding added support from worries about high potential for spring flooding in the Midwest and concerns about the quality of old-crop corn stocks. Soybean futures gains were limited by continued pressure from a huge South American crop, fading U.S. export sales and concerns corn planting delays could boost U.S. soybean plantings. Livestock futures had a mixed week with hogs charging higher on strong cash prices and continued tight hog supplies, while live cattle futures slipped on speculative profit taking and month-end position evening after two weeks of strong gains. Front-end cotton futures charged sharply higher for the second straight week with help from a sharp reduction in China's 2009 crop estimate.
