Mar. 30, 2016 Source: Brighton Agency news release s part of an ongoing effort to enhance client offerings and drive innovation, Brighton Agency is excited to welcome back Richard LaBonté as Senior Vice President of Audience Engagement and Jared Macke as Director of Innovation & Analytics. In his new role, LaBonté will lead collaboration across all segments of Brighton's centers of excellence, including influencer engagement, creative services, video, software engineering and integrated media; offering strategic insights to benefit both clients and the agency; and further building relationships both internally and externally. LaBonté will also serve on Brighton's Executive Leadership Team. LaBonté previously worked at Brighton from 2010 to 2014, leading many client development initiatives as well as the creation of Brighton's in-house multi-media team and production suite, an instrumental component of Brighton's storytelling and engagement capabilities. Prior to his return, he ran global product teams for HARMAN International, playing an integral role in the development of their wearables business and leading their strategic partnership with Under Armour. LaBonté also led product launches at events such as the International Consumer Electronics Show (CES), where his team won the 2016 Editor's Choice Award. "Re-engaging with Brighton gives me the ability to work with an immensely talented team of innovators to bring the best and brightest work to our clients," says LaBonté. "We have passionate clients who bring out the best in our agency, and I'm thrilled to share my experiences from the past two years and continue to drive excellence with my fellow Brightonians and clients alike." As Director of Innovation & Analytics, Jared Macke will employ his extensive technical experience in online marketing and engineering to ensure that clients maximize their potential in Internet-based and emerging marketing techniques. Macke formerly worked at Brighton as Director of Interactive Services from 2008 to 2012, during which time he managed all interactive services, developed unique online-based marketing solutions and engaged in new-business developments. Prior to his return, Macke served as President of Gnomium Metrics from 2011 to 2012 and as Systems Architect of baseball analytics for the Kansas City Royals from 2013 through their World Series appearance in 2014. Macke also helped develop and implement important digital solutions for Scottrade and Touchwood Creative, among others. "Richard and Jared both bring unique perspectives to Brighton, having worked in agency settings as well as with product/system development and strategic communications teams for a variety of companies," said Tina VonderHaar, President and CEO of Brighton Agency. "Their knowledge, energy and passion for the industry will be an asset to our team and our clients as we continuously strive to offer the best marketing solutions that help our clients and their brands build lasting relationships with their audiences." Along with LaBonté and Macke's return, Brighton is expanding its Brand Builder and Influencer Engagement teams. Brighton welcomes Brittany Phillips and Chris Young as Associate Account Executives on the Brand Builder team and Elissa Huck as Influencer Engagement Associate. Phillips was previously a writer for Varsity Tutors and a communications/public relations intern for STEMpact and FleishmanHillard in St. Louis. Her communications and education background provides a strong combination of marketing skills that she is applying in support project management across a variety of accounts. With more than 10 years in the U.S. Army as a Special Forces Weapons Sergeant, Young brings a world of experience to Brighton. As a member of the Brand Builder team, he will use his passion for communications as well as his experience interning with FleishmanHillard to help grow the Food and Home CPG business at Brighton. Having worked in various public relations roles and internships for nearly two years, Huck brings a range of both agency and in-house organization experience.
